CORE SKILLS
Move
Move is a child’s ability to move their body to achieve their goals. This includes the development of gross and fine motor skills, as well as the ability to care for and make healthy choices for themselves.
Educators can support these skills by providing a positive, safe environment for children to observe and try new movements, foods, and self-care routines, and by promoting children’s independence.
